Report exports to include card brand effective August 24th

Rainforest will be making an update to the Payment Report Exports and Deposit Activity Report Exports when exporting the payment method column to include the card brand.

This update will go into effect on August 24th for all exports within embedded reports and the Rainforest Portal. If you'd like to opt-in to this update within the Rainforest Portal prior to August 24th, please reach out to your Platform Success Manager or support to enable this update.

Previously when exporting the Method column in the Payment Report, only the payment method type (Card, ACH, Apple Pay, etc) and the last 4 digits of the card number or account number were exported.

Starting August 24th, the card brand will be included in the export as a new column Method (card brand), when the payment method is of type Card or Apple Pay.

Ensure any processes utilizing these exports are updated to take into consideration this new column.
