We've added better visibility into the reason a payin fails to process.

Simulating a deposit status change in Sandbox via the Rainforest API is now supported.

Rainforest is releasing chargeback management through our Reporting Components and API. Merchants will be able to respond to chargebacks and have better visibility into the current status of the chargeback.

Rainforest's new API version 2024-10-16 is now available in the Rainforest Sandbox environment. This version will be available in Production on November 4, 2024.

On October 1, 2024 we will be adding validation to prevent 15-16 digit numbers from being passed into the Rainforest API in the billing contact fields.

We will be updating how deposits and ACH payments are displayed on bank account statements starting August 20th.

Visa's 3DS integration now requires additional fields that were previously optional. In order to receive 3DS protection on Visa payments, the following billing contact fields will need to be set in the Create payin config request when threeds_mode is ATTEMPT.

We've added the capability to update a merchant's billing profile. This feature is available via the Rainforest Portal and the API.

We've added the capability of disabling users in the Portal.

When an ACH payin is returned before it is available for a deposit, the current flow will move the payin status from Processing to Succeeded when the ACH return is created (explained here).
