Collect tips on device payments

Rainforest now supports collecting tips when processing payments with devices.

The device will display either preset percentages or amounts defined on the payin config with the device_tip_config field. The option of "other" will always be displayed to allow the end user to input a custom tip amount directly on the device.

If a tip is collected on the device, then the requested amount initially presented to the end user and the tip amount the end user applied will be displayed in the Payin Details within the Reporting Components

Tipping is currently only supported on terminal devices and is not supported on Mobile Pay.
