AVS codes
AVS is a security feature used in card-not-present transactions that verifies the billing address and ZIP provided by the cardholder matches the address on file with the cardholder's bank. Visa requires an AVS check, utilizing the Postal Code, in order to receive standard interchange rates.

CVC, also known as card verification code or card security code, is a three- or four-digit (Amex) number on the back or front (Amex) of credit and debit cards.
